Other methods of diagnosis and treatment

ICSI – Intracytoplasmic Sperm Into Egg Injection – is a method that allows to achieve egg fertilization and pregnancy even in the most severe forms of male infertility.

What is TESE?

The TESE method is used for particularly severe forms of male infertility, when there are very few or no spermatozoa in the semen. With this method of treatment, a testicular biopsy is performed and spermatozoa are isolated directly from the resulting tissue. The resulting spermatozoon, under the conditions of the embryological laboratory, is injected directly into the cytoplasm of the egg using the ICSI method.

Indications for the use of this method of infertility treatment are most often severe forms of male infertility. Sometimes the indication is some changes in the eggs. Also, this method of treatment is used in cases where previous IVF attempts have failed. During ICSI, the best sperm available to doctors is injected directly into the egg. To do this, under a microscope, a notch is made in the shell of the egg and a sperm is introduced. The procedure is carried out using a special device – a micromanipulator, which converts the movements of the doctor’s hands into micromovements of instruments. The probability of fertilization in this case is very high, depending on the age of the woman and the quality of the egg – 85% or more. After ISIDA clinic embryologist is convinced that the fertilization has taken place and the embryo is developing, the future baby is placed to the mother – in the uterine cavity.

What is Videometersalpingography?

What is Videometersalpingography?

Videometrosalpingography – checking the patency of the fallopian tubes under fluoroscopic control, with recording information on digital media.

We use this technique, as it makes it possible to see the fallopian tube along its entire length; to see how the contrast passes through it at each stage. This research method is more informative than just salpingography, which allows you to see only a picture of the fallopian tubes at one particular moment, and than ultrasound, since the fallopian tube is practically not visible under ultrasound, and patency is judged only by the presence of fluid in the abdominal cavity.

• Problems of genitals development of the uterus or fallopian tubes;
• Infertility in marriage;
• Tumor processes in the uterus or fallopian tubes;
• If it is necessary to evaluate the results of the treatment of the fallopian tubes.

What are endoscopic methods?

Endoscopic methods:
Sometimes, in vitro fertilization requires endoscopic preparation – for diagnostic or diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

Depending on each specific situation, operations can be performed both by classical methods and modern endoscopic technologies – by laparoscopy and hysteroresectoscopy. Minimally invasive methods involve minimal intervention in the body, which in turn means faster and easier recovery.
