Clinicodiagnostic laboratory

Our own clinicodiagnostic laboratory is equipped with modern high-precision devices and equipment of leading world manufacturers: Roche Diagnostics (Germany), Biomerieux (France), Bio-Rad (USA).

The equipment of our clinicodiagnostic laboratory let us perform various types of research:

To assess the quality of research, clinicodiagnostic laboratory annually takes part in several international programs of laboratory quality control: RIQAS (UK), EQAS (USA), PREVECAL (Spain). Results of participation in such programs of external quality control of laboratory studies confirm the high accuracy of the conducted tests in the clinic - they correspond to the highest European standards (more than 90% correct results with acceptable 70% and higher).

Laboratory of genetics

In the laboratory, cytogenetic analyses are carried out - postnatal and prenatal detection of chromosomal abnormalities of patients of different groups. Laboratory staff developed a set of molecular cytogenetic studies of patients with various forms of infertility, including patients with male factor infertility. Comprehensive molecular cytogenetic study is indicated for patients with miscarriage of the 1st trimester. It includes the study of material of non-viable pregnancy, compulsory definition of the karyotypes of the spouses, consultation of geneticist and cytogeneticist. This approach is important to clarify the reasons for termination of pregnancy. Also, the laboratory carries out pre-implantation genetic diagnostics.

Laboratory of genetics conducts such cytogenetic studies as:

• Prenatal identification of chromosomal pathology.
• Pre-implantation genetic diagnostics of IVF program.
• Molecular cytogenetic diagnostics of patients with chronic myeloproliferative diseases.

The latest equipment of genetics lab allows carrying out molecular cytogenetic diagnostics by using the most modern methods. Laboratory is tested according to European quality control of cytogenetic studies, which is held annually under the EUROPEAN QUALITY ASSESSMENT SCHEME. The results of quality control programs confirm the high level of quality of research, conducted in our laboratory.
